On 25 November 2022, Christoph Nöthiger and David Tscholl presented at the 37th Südwestdeutsche Anästhesietage in Mannheim’s Congress Center Rosengarten. Their talk, “Situation Awareness im dynamischen Umfeld eines Operationssaales”, addressed situation awareness in the dynamic operating-room environment.
The presentation opened a symposium on innovations in patient monitoring, chaired by Jan Larmann. The session also covered clinical decision support and alarm fatigue in intensive care, placing situation awareness alongside other approaches to improving how clinical teams receive and use information.
