Christoph Nöthiger and Cynthia Hunn brought Visual Patient to the Canadian Anesthesiologists’ Society Annual Meeting in Victoria, British Columbia, held from 7 to 10 June 2024. Alongside their presentation, they joined the Philips team at the exhibition stand, where the avatar appeared on a large display and patient monitors.
The photographs follow the journey as well as the congress: Christoph and Cynthia travelling together and preparing for their presentation, the team gathered around the demonstration, and a playful moment imitating the avatar’s relaxed pose. On the return flight to Zurich, a passenger screen displaying Synthetic Vision offered another connection to aviation-inspired visualisation.
