Visual Patient Avatar is a situation awareness system that can help us react before an acoustical alarm triggers. Additionally we can see it better from a distance, with peripheral vision. The information transfer is streamlined because information can be perceived much more quickly in a picture than a lot of numbers. That's why we can also perceive it easier under high cognitive load. All these aspects are particularly useful for critical care. Please, come hear us and then decide for yourself if it is going to be the future. Evidence in the first comment. Let's build some bridges. 🙏
