In May 2024, the Visual Patient concept became part of our discussion with veterinary anaesthetists at the AVA Spring Meeting in Baden. The exchange opened a new design question: how might a visual monitoring approach be adapted to other species? Animal avatars were an idea to explore, with their own requirements and challenges.
