An Avatar for Patients: MAHAISACON 2025

🌸 Fun fact: Avatar is originally a Sanskrit word from Hindu philosophy meaning “descent”, the embodiment of a higher being in visible form. The #VisualPatientAvatar is exactly that. An “avatar” of our patients. It helps clinicians gain #situationawareness more efficiently by making optimal use of our visual perception and pattern-recognition abilities. 👁️🧠 It's deeply human design: simple, intuitive, and emotionally engaging, which also embodies the yogic philosophy of oneness and universal connection. 🧘‍♂️💫 As a yogi and anesthesiologist, I was honored to deliver this virtual talk at #MAHAISACON2025 in Mumbai.
