Original curves and values: seq1.pptx · slide 9. Curve shape digitised from the image; the last source amplitude is held to 60 minutes. Playback reconstructed.
Published reference ranges · ROTEM
Reference intervals for the selected assay profile. These describe completed measurements, not the initial flat trace, and are distinct from treatment thresholds and Visual Clot mapping rules.
| Assay / cartridge | Published interval | Scope | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| EXTEM | CT 38–79 s; CFT 34–159 s; MCF 50–72 mm | Adult reference intervals | Crochemore et al., 2018 |
| INTEM | CT 100–240 s; CFT 30–110 s; MCF 50–72 mm | Adult reference intervals | Crochemore et al., 2018 |
| FIBTEM | MCF 9–25 mm | Not the conditional platelet cutoffs | Visual Clot Table S1 |
Mapping, sources and model limitations
The numerical mapping follows Table S1 of the 2022 Visual Clot study. Open Table S1
The ten original cases contain schematic curves, not exported raw measurements. The PowerPoint images are preserved unchanged. Interactive source curves are digitised on a 60-minute time axis. Calculated curves interpolate the values and do not reproduce validated device signal processing. The α angle is shown as a reference value.
A dash indicates a missing value. For stable original curves, missing ML is treated as 0% by the mapping. Missing APTEM or HEPTEM channels are not invented. Visual Clot follows the revealed trace: components begin absent and are added as measured clot firmness crosses the mapping cutoffs. CT is evaluated when observed; elapsed CT is a lower bound while clotting is pending. MCF-so-far is provisional, not final MCF. Lyse is evaluated from observed amplitude loss and APTEM. This temporal extension is a teaching model, not a validated real-time algorithm.
Local teaching and development prototype. No patient data or treatment recommendations.
